A tri­corne hat can be made with your choice of fabric and trims. This hat is available in silk dupioni, taffeta or velvet; or if you prefer I can use a fabric you provide (subject to approval).

You can choose either a feather or a bow for the main dec­or­ative element. I can use either an antique button or a hand made button to dec­orate the rosette. Pleated or braided trims, dif­ferent laces can be used to dec­orate the hat further. Trims and buttons can vary depending on avail­ab­ility since I use a lot of vintage and one of a kind accents.

This hat is com­pletely con­structed by hand. It has a buckram (a stiffened cotton fabric used for making hat frames) and mil­linery wire base. It is padded with cotton flannel and covered in luxury fabrics. The fabric and trims are all hand sewn in place.

This hat is meant to perch jauntily on you hair, and has an elastic and a comb to help secure it in place. A hat pin will also work very well to keep it in place.

This type of hat will take three to five weeks to com­plete once I receive payment.
