Hats

Morúa hats are hand built from scratch. They are constructed using buckram (a stiffened cotton fabric used for making hat frames) , millinery wire and cotton flannel.

Each one is a little bit different since I use antique and hand made trims. The fabric and trim are all hand stitched in place.

Most of these hats are meant to perch jauntily on you head, and use an elastic, comb or hat pin to keep it in place.

Don’t see exactly what you want? I am happy to work with you to make your perfect hat.
